the polyolefin industry

Driving value growth in the Polyolefin market

Current estimates suggest that by 2021 the global market for polyolefins will reach $297 billion at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.8%.

We intend not only to add substantially to that growth, but to drive up margins by unlocking a new world of high-value application opportunities in the packaging, construction, agriculture, automotive and clothing sectors.

Unlocking the door to a new world of innovation

Until now, the polyolefin industry has been constrained by limitations around compatibility and hydrolytic stability. Our technology breaks through those limitations and unlocks the door to a new world of innovation.

That’s why our vision is global, with a focus on repositioning polyolefin-based materials as new alternatives in high value markets that were previously out of reach.

Of course, such an ambitious vision demands a world-class management team with the belief, know-how and contacts to make it happen. Founders Dr Kay and Professor Scott have made a great start to building that team with the appointment of Dominique Fournier, Phil Smith and Simon Waddington.

To help guide our growing team as we pursue this vision, we have set out the following values and principles:

In business, we are committed to:

  • Value creation through innovation
  • Striving to delight our customers
  • Collaborative win-win partnerships
  • Ethical and sustainable behaviour
  • Fast growth in shareholder value

At work, we will strive to:

  • Deliver on our promises with 100% dependability
  • Promote 3-D teamwork
  • Give everyone opportunities to contribute and develop
  • Provide the best tools for the job
  • Embrace flexible working to maximise productivity and work-life balance

We want to acknowledge the help and support we have received from Innovate UK.

Without their funding and encouragement we wouldn’t have progressed so far in such a short time. Thanks to the ICURe programme (Innovation to Commercialisation of University Research) Dr Kay was able to market test his ideas with over one hundred potential customers and go on to spin out Interface Polymers Ltd from the University of Warwick.
